The huge increase in the cost of land & property along the South Coast has seen a boom in the demand for Holiday Sites in Holiday Parks. With the prices of holiday houses in sort after coastal towns now out of reach for the average family, the alternative of having an Annual Site is a welcome relief.
So What Is A Long Term Casual Site?
Basically you own the structure on the site i.e. the cabin or van/annex, and you pay an annual fee to the caravan park to occupy the site for holiday use. The fee covers the cost of your family using the site and water. You pay an additional fee for any electricity used.
As a Long Term Casual you have 24 hour access to your site; so you can come and go as you please via the use of your own boom gate card, your lawns are mowed for you and you have access to all parks facilities.
An agreement is entered into with the park which is renewed yearly.
What can I or Can’t I do.
The site is available to be used for holiday purposes only, there is no option to sublet your cabin or van/annex.
The agreement with the park gives you an option to list two people as the owners or the principal occupants of the site. There is also an option to add adult and children family members or an extra family (2 adults and 2 Children) onto the agreement to be able to use the site for holiday purposes for an extra cost.
The site can be used for a total of 180 nights per year.
